The day has come for the release of the 2010 lollapalooza line up. While I was scared for this moment to come due to the headliner rumors, I am very pleased with the day time line up. I'm not quite sure what kind of crowd Lady Gaga will bring, but I do think that it's cool that she is headlining the festival when she had played at the bottom at the festival to an empty crowd as an unheard of act. I'm personally looking forward to seeing Grizzley Bear, Metric, Raphael Saadiq (also appearing in Chicago's Pitchfork Festival), Spoon, Cut Copy, Cypress Hill, and one of my favorites, The Black Keys.
There are plenty of wtf's in the line up that might be funny to go see trashed including Chromeo, Blues Traveler, Kaskade and, who knew there still enough 12 year old alt rock surfers in the world to come and see Switchfoot. I will definitely be there and everyone else should be too. The music is always great, and it's just crazy amazing experience to be partying at the heart of a major city. Plus, Apollo owes us some sun, as many of us know about the terrible storms at last years lolla.
You know that there'll be some highest culture repped at lolla this year. Get your gear, and keep your eye's peeled for friends.
