Seattle-based avant-rap outfit, Shabazz Palaces, offer their new album, Black Up, in it's entirety. Lead by former Digable Planets member Ishmael Butler, the band avoided contact with media representatives, preferring their music to speak for itself. With it's complex lyricism, and synth infused distorted beats, this is no superficial release but one that requires deep listening. Black Up is out out June 28. Have a listen.
